Leaked Image Reveals ! Google’s Pixel 3 XL To Get iPhone X-Like Notch
We are still months away from the release of Google’s next-generation Pixel smartphones, but a couple of rumors about the phone’s design have been doing rounds off lately.
The most recent one is a leaked picture of tempered glass screen protectors which is supposedly created for the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Going by the image, we can assume that a significant facelift is coming to the next-gen Pixel phones. There is a striking difference between the two phones with a notched display on XL whereas the Pixel 3 sports a thicker bezel.
Given that Android P has native notch support, it makes sense for at least one of the next Pixel lineups to include a notch. Two holes at the top of the screen are most likely going to house dual front-facing cameras or dual speakers; likes of which have never been seen before on a Google smartphone.
The most notable difference between the two is the notched display of the XL and the thicker bezels of the Pixel 3. If this image proves to be true Google fans could be in store for an iPhone X-inspired smartphone this year.
It is entirely possible that they are made for sensors to enable face unlocking feature just like the iPhone X. If this image is correct, Pixel fans should brace themselves for an iPhone X-inspired smartphone this year.
One should take these rumors with a grain of salt. As no official remarks have been issued by Google yet, so we will have to wait until this fall when the third generation of Pixel phones are most likely to be released.
